Well, that's a borderline masochistic level of detail there! I think I'd have the same expression as this guy if I had to ink this...=D
Sweet colour choices as usual and I love all the little details in the BG. Was this your own concept btw?

Thanks dude, yeah the inking took ages. Like literally, days.

The character is based on the clients logo, which is a minimal detail vector type deal, so they asked me to visualise a more detailed 'real world' version of the character. So yeah, the scene and character was all me.

I'm working on another super detailed one for them as we speak! Thankfully, the end is in sight!;)

Yeah, they're 2'x3' jumbo posters. Sounds absurd but I have actually been doing wrist exercises! And I've had to get into a regimen of taking breaks little and often. If only I was ambidextrous eh?:D

Thanks dude! Yeah I'm good man, hanging low and slightly left :D:D:D

Been working my ass off to make a (meager) living from art. Feels weird to see myself as a professional but there's no doubt things are going in the right direction, so I can hardly complain.

How's you bro? You still grinding the art gears I take it? Met the future mrs acerbic yet?? :D

Hahahaha :V, nice.

That's great to hear man, sure things will pick up sooner or later, onward and upwards.

Yeah mean, I've been hella busy with commissions for the past few months,
taking some time for a personal project now though. Alas, I, was a bit agoraphobic, for a while there
so no Mrs....yet. :V. I'm sure you and yours are going great :3... not jelly or anything...

Haha, yeah we're all good thanks man.

Dang, how you doing now? Sam's suffered from OCD before (not sure if I mentioned it before or not) and I've struggled with anxiety and panic attacks on and off for years, so I know how these kind of things can kick your arse. Not to make light of agoraphobia, but I think most of us who sit staring at a screen for work are prone to spending too much time inside to begin with, so it's easy to see how it could develop.

As I get older I've been enjoying getting out more and more, especially as I'm getting busier with work (and home is my place of work and place to relax). Really been enjoying getting out for walks and for the ultimate therapy, some relaxing kayaking on a quiet river is like my mental happy place!

I'm sure everything'll fall into place for you man, good guys do actually win in the end. Or so I'm told Sweating a little...

That's good to hear :3, both that you guys are doing good and that y'all past those issues. Y'all give me hope :3

It was more of a self diagnosis :V, but yeah, I think it's down to working from home, and not having to go out, allowed some underlying anxiety to..evolve into something unexpectedly big. Since I realised that it was anxiety though, I've started to work on it  so I'm way better now :3. Just need to find actual things to do outside :V. Those are some nice suggestions tbh

Thanks man, tfw, I'm actually a villainMuaha

Hahaha, then you've gone and made the classic mistake of telling me your cunning plan!:D

I feel you bro, really. A lot of my choices in life have been as either a direct or indirect result of my anxiety (not that I realised and identified it as such way back then). I did get a diagnosis eventually in my mid 20's and even went on a course of CBT (which helps a lot of people). It did help in some ways, but unfortunately accepting some issues then led to me having regular panic attacks and then being diagnosed with panic disorder. Fun times, fooooor suuuuuure...Twitch 2

I've learned to challenge myself and manage it thankfully (for the most part), which is why I don't think most people realise these days. Plus it's not like I open with "Hi I'm Ian, if I appear at any time to be having a heart attack, don't fret! It's just a good ol' fashioned anxiety attack!" whenever I meet people. Although that would be quite the ice breaker :D

I can totally relate to the choices things, as of late, it seemed like there was a veil of negativity over what could happen. Really sorry to hear at the panic attacks though, I'm glad to know you're working through it as well. I can't imagine how that must feel, though that's definitely an ice breaker.. onion head 'so what'. The more I look around, it seems that everyone is dealing with there own mental burden, maybe it's part of the zeitgeist of our time.

I think it's always been that way, but thanks to the internet and recent generations being more open about this kinda stuff it's more apparent. My theory is that there's two kinds of people; people who are batshit crazy and people who've learned to hide the fact they're batshit crazy! :D

You'll get through it mate, just gotta not let this stuff cripple you. Once it does, it's a lot harder to climb back out of the hole, trust me. I'm sending you positive vibes bro!
